The girls' varsity team, under the guidance of Head Coach Ryan Callihan, clinched first place with an impressive total of 54 points. Coach Callihan praised the team's effort and preparation, stating, "We had a goal today to go out and show everyone the hard work we put in this summer, and the girls executed on that plan!"
Highlighting individual achievements, Senior Ruby Lewis delivered an outstanding performance by finishing in 2nd place with a time of 18:20, marking a career-best by 20 seconds. Following closely, Senior Olivia Smeck also set a new personal milestone, finishing 4th with a time of 18:45, bettering her previous best by 20 seconds. Additionally, Sophomore Jillian Gomez excelled by finishing 9th, clocking in at 19:13 and beating her personal record by 16 seconds.
